I really hate having the cold...
Anyways it gives me some time to check out the Torque Game Builder engine.. It looks promising.
It's basically a toolset for making all kinds of 2D games, and I plan to play around with it a bit to see if it fits for any of my gameideas
Also reading up a lot about different aspects of Game development, currently I'm focusing on online gaming and AI programming.
Just came home from San Francisco though, from a *fantastic* trip.. Actually it's among the best vacations I've ever had
Me and herrTevik went there to attend the Game Developers Conference after winning Expo Passes on The Great Games Experiment website.
Needless to say, the trip was a blast and the conference was *really* interesting.
The most enjoyable at the conference was the Indie -game developers booth tho, where indie developers showed off their recent projects.
One project that *really* caught my interest was Roboblitz which is entirely physics controlled.. Astonishing!
Also.. I met the love of my life in SF... Yeah I know what peeps think now, "Ummm don't you live on the other side of the globe??"...
I'm thinking the same, but I just can't get her out of my head or heart so I've decided to try and see where this relationship goes...
She's coming over to stay with me for the entire summer though and it's gonna be a *blast* for sure

"...we live in darkness, just out of their sight...in the sounds they cannot hear...in the colors they cannot see...where they are not...we are grey shadows across the boy's shirt...the racing clouds...the pools of darkness..."
